The GS ride this month will start at BP Stapylton at 7.45am for an 8.00am departure and head south west into the country around Kerry.

This will be a fairly easy ride, so if you have been thinking about getting your GS dirty for the first time this will be the ride for you.

The August GS Ride will be run in conjunction with the TS Ride led by George and Maggie and we will be meeting the TS riders for morning tea where Maggie will smother us with kindness and her fantastic cakes and pastries.

Bring along your mess kit, stove and water if you want a hot drink with your cakes and goodies as we will be a fair way from the shops at little lunch.

The track after morning tea will take us back up over the Ranges to the east and through some very pretty rainforest tracks before we reach our lunchtime stop and the TS Riders. There is a café at this location where you can buy lunch if you wish but I will be bringing mine with me so I don’t have to queue.

After lunch we have a nice ride north along a variety of mountain roads and country tracks to bring you back into Brisbane close to where we started in the morning.

This will be a great ride with something for everyone, so fuel your bike, air down your tyres, pack your billy, tea and biscuits and I will see you there.
